45 Apprentices attend our two day event
CoTrain recently held development days for all of our new apprentices and also for the second year site manager apprentices.
Held over two days, 45 CoTrain apprentices heard from both internal and external speakers, speaking about topics as diverse as Health and Safety, CV writing, CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Community Safety) and coping techniques for mental health.
Our development days are intended to help second year site managers to start thinking about how they will go about gaining full time jobs once their apprenticeships are completed, as well looking at their presentation skills and focusing on NVQ and BTEC qualifications.
For the first year apprentices, it is the opportunity for them to see that they are not alone, what they can expect from their apprenticeship, from CoTrain and also what we expect from them.
