Blog: Toby wins Juniper Training's Roof Sheeter and Cladder Apprentice of The Year Award 2026

CoTrain Apprentice Toby Wilde was nominated for Juniper Training’s ‘Roof Sheeter and Cladder Apprentice of The Year Award 2026'. Toby is superbly hosted by Southern Industrial Roofing, based in Hilsea, Portsmouth and has been mentored on site by Ray Green.

We are thrilled to announce that Toby won!

Toby started with us back in January 2025. We are delighted and immensely proud of Toby’s resilience and determination which has enabled him to overcome challenges both personally and professionally culminating in receiving this award.

On his win, Toby expressed “I am very grateful to have even been nominated for this award – winning it, is amazing! My apprenticeship has given me the opportunity to work with great people who challenge and support me every step of the way – helping me to build both my personal professional and financial independence.”
