For Sam, his apprenticeship provides this valuable feeling of involvement in real-life projects from day one
Apprenticeship provides this valuable feeling of involvement in real-life projects from day one.
Samuel Haile joined CoTrain in July 2022 as a Level 4 Site Supervisor Apprentice with ISG. He is proud of being given a lot of responsibility – “It feels like I have a real purpose on site”. Also, Sam has done additional training related to working at heights.
Sam says he feels valued as a key member of the team. One day he wants to be a Site Manager or Project Manager.
Sam looks up to his current managers on site as they are the experts and in the position he wants to be in one day. He appreciates the life advice the managers give to him. Once, one of the managers said to Sam: “Take the good and leave the bad”. Sam took this advice onboard a lot on those days that were especially challenging.
