Blog: Joshua Site Supervisor Level 4 Apprentice

23 February 2023

“Doing an apprenticeship has matured me and really opened my eyes to the world of work”.

Apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain #SkillsForLife through working experience, education and learning from experienced professionals.

Joshua Crossley joined CoTrain a year ago and now he is Site Supervisor Level 4 apprentice working with Wates.

Joshua especially enjoys his on-site experience and seeing what happens first hand. Working alongside experienced people has really taught him about the world of work and developed his confidence and put his career in the right direction. It helped develop his communication and interpersonal skills in the workplace which is something that you don’t learn in full-time education: “I think doing an apprenticeship has matured me and really opened my eyes to the world of work”.

This job opens so many opportunities like working abroad, growing the career up, and learning from role models. It all makes Joshua value his apprenticeship choice and promote it to his friends and family members.
