G4C Oxford invites you to a site tour of the new servery at Keble College. They are limited to 15 places so if you are interest in attending do sign up ASAP. Regrettably due to the limited number of spaces we are offering this event to G4C members only. Everyone attending must bring their own PPE consisting of a hard hat, safety footwear and a high visibility vest. For all enquires please contact Jack Strickland: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that the site entrance is located on Blackhall Road. It is imperative that attendees arrive no later than 15:50 to ensure we have as much time on site as possible.
The current works are in phase 1 of 2 to modernise and improve the colleges’ servery and kitchen facilities. Phase 1 consists of extending the current servery into former bedrooms, installing a new lift shaft, and creating new openings into the dining hall. The site is located within the Grade I listed building. In addition to these works, the college is in the process of renovating their dining hall which will be included in the tour.
The project team is made up of contractors Kingerlee, architects Original Field of Architecture, structural engineers HRW, M&E P3R, and catering Humble Arnold Associates. Representatives from some of these companies will be present to lead the tour and answer any questions.
