Apprentice shares his experience of working for CoTrain with industry professionals
CoTrain present at the Southampton Construction Expo
CoTrain were invited to present to a cross section of industry professionals at The Southampton Construction Expo, organised by Hampshire Constructing Excellence, held at Southampton Solent University. The event featured a variety of presentations from organisations active within the construction industry across the Solent region.
CoTrain explained how the shared apprenticeship scheme works, how we look to support our apprentices and the success that the scheme has had, with over 50 new site managers and trades joining the industry.
Attendees also heard from Ben Hatch, CoTrain Apprentice Site Manager working with BAM Construction on a project at Southampton University. He spoke about his experiences so far with working for CoTrain, what his long-term goals are and what skills he has gained on placement and how he is enjoying his role.
